The Nerdery in the news - see how we hold up to media scrutiny

KSTP at second morning of TC2011 OWC

A couple hundred self proclaimed nerds spent their last day helping non-profits redesign their websites. It's all part of the Nerdery.

The "nerds" spent 24 hours working with 18 non-profits. Organizers say they performed about $500,000 of free work. They worked from Saturday morning to Sunday morning. One of the websites helped was something that was created five years ago. They hope all of this work will spread their message better.

Judges named one team that they felt made the most transformational difference for their designated nonprofit. The winner was TST Media for their work for Bloomington United for Youth (BUY).
