What's the best part of working here?

Having the opportunity to work on large, high-profile projects that I wouldn't have been able to work on if I was still working freelance.

What are you a complete nerd about?

Efficient dishwasher loading techniques.

What's the best thing about the people you work with?

They are top-notch developers that really understand what they're doing. I can trust them to deliver quality work. The managers really understand how the web works and provide great input on projects.

What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt?

Professional musician (bass) or recording studio engineer.

What word/noise do you hate?

Va-jay-jay... put that on your website!

What did you catch onto (early adopt) before your friends?

Android phone (Tmobile G1). . .  other than that, I don't consider myself an early adopter.

What is your earliest computing or internet memory?

I got my first computer when I was eight and by age ten I was programming in qBasic. I remember following the programming tutorial for using the random number generator, and my program generated the EXACT SAME random numbers that the printed manual did. It blew my mind. That was my first experience with psuedo-random number generators.

What's been your proudest achievement at the Nerdery?

Creating a Facebook/MySpace application that had over 10,000 users in the blink of an eye.

What software or websites couldn't you live without?

jQuery.
