Remember "Dumb and Dumber" when they do the most annoying sound in the world? That one.

What is the homepage to your browser set to?

popurls.com & news.ycombinator.com. Why? I can't figure out how to change my homepages on AOL (optimized for broadband).

What did you catch onto (early adopt) before your friends?

Battlebots. Actually, I think I was the only one to catch onto it.

What is your favorite movie?

"Office Space." It used to be "Tommy Boy," but I started to see too many depressing similarities.

What's been your proudest achievement at The Nerdery?

Getting in. There's this stat floating around that we're harder to get into than Harvard, which I think is a club in Uptown.

How would you explain a database in three sentences to your eight-year-old nephew?

"Timmy, go get your uncle a beer. And some nachos. Databases are for grown ups."
