It took Chip Hanna and Brian Blankenship from the Balcom Agency in Fort Worth, Texas a little while to dream up iMapWeather.com, a social networking site that allows users to connect about the weather. The team had been tasked with bringing a product Weather Design Technologies had created to consumers.
Once Hanna and Blankenship had the idea they turned to us to help them make it a reality.
The weather social network allows users to post video, pictures, and tag them to a specific location on a map, share their content with other users, post twitter-like burst, and embed maps on their own website.
Sierra Bravo helped us get our ideas more focused and get them on paper. They've been able to find a lot of areas where we can be more efficient, and offered great solutions on how to serve the weather data better. They've been a big help with the planning and then implementing every single bit of it.
