Minneapolis design agency HartungKemp turned to us after the web development company they started out with couldn’t deliver on their client’s ambitious web project: HealthSimple. The site’s key feature is a content management system (CMS) that enables HealthSimple to easily update their website to converse with people affected by diabetes, and also ensures compliance with the necessary approval processes of parent-company Johnson & Johnson.
HealthSimple wanted the site to take on the personality of a trusted friend – a design essence captured by HartungKemp. Our challenge was to make it all live and breathe online in a friendly, informal, personable tone – built in Flash and Flex.
HartungKemp gave us detailed storyboards, animated screens and design in Photoshop. We built the HTML, CSS, web-ready images, and JavaScript that brought our partner’s design to life. A Flex-based menu gives users tailored feedback and resources based on what they know and how they feel about diabetes.
I recommend The Nerdery to any agency who doesn't want to add staff to handle web development. They bring strong project management and are thorough about making sure everything works on the web.
